The primary fund raiser for the CHEZA Scholarship program is the annual Cali Jam Line Dance Extravaganza 3-day event.

2014 was our First Annual Event and it was a great success. Held over the Labor Day Weekend at the Torrance Marriott over 500 people participated in a weekend of workshops, dancing, and recognition of success for our scholarship recipients and Soul Line Dance fore-runners in the Southern California area. |

Cali Jam 2015 was another resounding success. Held later in September 2015, we returned to the Torrance Marriott and again had over 500 people participated in a weekend of workshops, and dancing. We increased our scholarship awards to over $5,000. |

Cali Jam 2016 was held at the Hyatt Concourse LAX Hotel. We had over 600 people participated in a weekend of workshops, and dancing. We increased our scholarship awards to over $7,000. |

Cali Jam 2017 was again held at the Hyatt Concourse LAX Hotel. We celebrated the Brothas of Line Dance. We had over 600 people raving about the event for our weekend of workshops, and dancing. We increased our scholarship awards to $9,000. |

Cali Jam 2018 will be held at the Torrance Marriott, September 21-23, 2018. Our theme will be “Dancing Around The World In A Weekend” and we will be celebrating game changers. This is a smaller venue so we will be limiting our attendance to 500 people. Our goal for 2018 is $12,000 in scholarship awards. |
